I hate the word "Galore" and the word "Yummy" and the word "Scrumptious." I don't know why.

I most especially hate the word "Blog." The only reason that I can come up with is that I don't like the way it sounds like "Blah" in the beginning and then to add insult to injury there is a great big "aag" sound at the end. Kind of like you're choking.

But alas, I am told that in this day and age I must have a "B-Word" and be known as a "B-Worder" in order to get people with money to notice my books. I asked them if I could still be a smart-ass and they said yes. I asked if I had to include recipes and pictures of my meals and they said no. In fact, I think the words they actually used were GOD NO.

So I agreed and here we are.

Wait. Before I begin, I have to get something out of the way to satisfy the search engine people:
Blog, Blogger, Bloggette, Blogging, Blog Writer, Blog Star, Women's Blogger, Humor Blogger, Mom Blogger, Divorce Blogger, Sarcasm Blogger...

Okay. I'm done. You get the point.

Now...

What the hell will we do here?

Read and laugh.

Look around and tell me what you think...

Halloween is here and the Big Four "go to" Halloween classics are:

Wes Craven's Scream (1996)

For younger kids (not toddlers or preschoolers) you can't go wrong with
Disney's Hocus Pocus (1993)

Here are a few other "scary" movies that I can recommend that are not graphic slasher films:

The Unborn (2009)
A young woman is haunted by a little boy and finds he is his her twin that died in utero and now wants to be born.

Visions (2015)
A young couple buys a vineyard and the wife sees things that she thinks are from the past.

The Boy (2016)
A nanny is called to an English Estate to look after a doll that she believes is alive. (Note: There are three movies with this title. You must look for the 2016 version that stars Lauren Cohan and Rupert Evans.)

All movies and their trailers can be found on IMDB.
Check Netflix and Hulu for availability.
IMDB can tell you where to rent and in many cases they offer direct rental links to Amazon, etc.
